ATTENTION, ATTENTION! I'm Breaking All the Rules

Yep I know, if you have a blog you should at least write in it once a week or so not a year later.  Well at least there's no blog police or I'd be in big trouble.....at least I don't think so (she says this as she looks over her shoulders)....I have plenty of excuses:  I didn't have anything to write about; too busy.....okay not cool but I'm sticking with it.

Anyhoo, I have some good news.  I'm now teaching Dabble classes.  What is Dabble you say?  Just the coolest webspace around.  Dabble allows you to create classes that you're good at, love and would like to share with others.  I'm a teacher at heart and always will be but I wanted to change the direction of my teaching and I think I've landed on a good one Houston....LOL.

Thank you to those who have been waiting forever for content, and for those of you who have long forgotten me, shame on you....well, no, I think it's my fault....no writing and no marketing.

These things take time Master and to master.  So here I am again introducing you to the things I love.  My class is Inventive Tablescaping.  Now what is that you say?  Something I made up.....gotcha.  Honestly, it is inventive and an inventive way of creating a quick tablescape when you're low on money and time.  This project doesn't require sewing skills, nor promise mastery, neither will it look like you bought it from Macy's unless you have awesome creativity and then it could.  It's just a cute class intended to help you get your creative juices flowing and learn something new.  I'm always learning and I'm trying to push the rest of us'ins to get busy learning too.  In case you're wondering about the bad grammar.....I did it on purpose.  I believe I have reached a level of being able to make up words as I write.  At least I believe so in my head.  If any of my English Teachers are reading this, your work was not in vain.  I promise.....I digress.....take my class. This Art Life is a Challenge-but I'm Movin Forward

Haven't communicated with your guys in a long time so I need to give many updates. What's the 411.....well, the hope is I'll be crafting now for JoAnn Fabrics.  I'm excited.  I'll be doing beginning classes but it's a great start, such as  sewing, crocheting and even jewelry making.  I've also been involved lately with the CPL Innovation Lab.  The classes are free and use digital imaging to carve 3D models of images via laser intensive machines.  I'm also taking classes at Lurie Gardens.  My first one is Candle-making Inspired by Nature.  I'm still working it out at the Center for Green Technology and their upcoming classes.  You can never learn too much, another one of my motto's.  Finally, I'm planning on teaching how to create unique and original tablescapes for the holidays at the Library and I'm involved in another free art project with the Woman Made Gallery.
